East Valley Academy - Independent Study Program
East Valley Academy was established in 1991 to provide alternative education to families of the San Fernando Valley and Simi Valley areas.

What Do We Do?

Through East Valley Academy's independent study program, students are provided the opportunity to take courses designed for both in-school and home studies. Whether a student is attending our East Valley Academy school site or working independently from home, each curriculum is custom-tailored to match the child's needs and work ability.

Each student attending the EVA school site is closely monitored and counseled by EVA staff. Not only does this encourage students to improve their study skills and habits, but it ensures they meet graduation requirements in a timely manner. In addition to the individual tutoring, students have the opportunity participate in a class-like environment and extra curricular activities

Who Attends?

East Valley Academy's focused and flexible education options are ideal for students who struggle academically or socially in traditional school settings.

East Valley Academy is also ideal for students seeking a flexible schedule in order to concurrently enroll in community colleges or occupational schools. Through this option, they can receive double credit which apply toward both their high school careers and post-secondary educations.

Graduates from East Valley Academy continue on to four-year universities, community colleges, occupational schools and the military.
